Overview
In a home with several cats sharing boxes, this Tidy Cats clay litter forms tight clumps and neutralizes ammonia, urine and fecal odors. A light Glade floral scent covers the litter box area, and low dust helps the pour.
Tight clumps and multi-cat odor control suit busy boxes, and the smaller bags pour more cleanly. The fragrance is noticeable by design. Clay litter is heavy to carry and does not flush.
Who it's for
Homes with two or more cats using shared boxes suit the odor control. People who need unscented or plant-based litter should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Strong, tight clumps
- Neutralizes ammonia odors
- Low dust pour
- Smaller bags easier to handle
- Fragrance not for sensitive cats
- Clay is heavy, not flushable
Performance notes
Clumping depends on the clay absorbing urine fast and binding into a firm mass, which makes scooping clean. Odor control relies on regular scooping, with the claimed period tied to use as directed. Scent fades as the litter ages.
