Overview
Purina Tidy Cats Free and Clean is an unscented clumping cat litter sold in a 38 lb box, clay-based and built around odor control without added fragrance.
This is a large-format, single-box purchase rather than a multi-carton pack, and it's unscented, which matters for cats or owners sensitive to fragranced litter. It clumps for scooping and Purina backs it with a satisfaction guarantee handled by mail.
- 38 lb box
- Unscented
- Clumping clay formula
- Purina satisfaction guarantee
Who it's for
Fits owners who specifically want unscented clumping litter in bulk, whether for a fragrance-sensitive cat or personal preference. Not the pick if you want a scented litter or a smaller, lighter box.
Pros and cons
- Unscented formula for fragrance-sensitive cats or owners
- Large 38 lb box, fewer repurchases
- Clumps for scooping
- Backed by Purina's mail-in satisfaction guarantee
- No scent layer if you prefer fragranced litter
- 38 lbs is heavy to carry and pour
Performance notes
The litter clumps for scooping and is clay-based, with the odor control coming from the formula itself rather than added scent, since it's labeled unscented.
