A gift-friendly pink frame that receives photos and notes from family through a free app and stores them locally. It must run from a correctly rated plug-in adapter, which is the usual cause of start-up problems.

Overview
Not a plain black photo frame, the pink Divoom Times Frame floats images on a transparent IPS panel with glowing RGB edges. Family can send photos, videos and short notes from the free app, and memories are kept on its own storage rather than in a cloud account.
Sending a note or photo to someone's desk from far away is what makes this a thoughtful gift for couples and families. The adapter output matters, since the listing names low power as the common reason it fails to start.
Who it's for
Couples and families living apart can preload a greeting before wrapping it and keep sending new pictures later. Shoppers after a large wall-hung frame for a living room will find this one desk sized.
Pros and cons
- Transparent screen with RGB glow
- Large local photo storage
- Works offline once loaded
- Free app with no fees
- Needs a specific adapter output
- Power adapter not listed in box
- Desk sized, not wall sized
- Touch control not described
Performance notes
Photos are stored on the frame, so slideshows continue during a network outage and only new uploads need WiFi. Transfers are encrypted and cleared after delivery. Reliable start-up depends on a correctly rated power adapter.
