Overview
A shoulder strap for carrying a rolled yoga mat, not a mat itself. Adjustable loops fit mats up to about 1.5 cm thick and other rolled gear like towels. Cotton blend webbing, 1.5 inches wide, sized for slinging over one shoulder to the gym or class.
This is purely a carry accessory, no mat included. The cotton blend material is chosen for grip against the mat rather than raw strength, so it suits day to day gym runs more than heavy daily abuse. Width is fixed at 1.5 inches, useful to know if you want a slimmer strap.
- Fits mats up to about 1.5 cm thick
- 1.5 inch wide cotton blend webbing
- Adjustable tie loops
- Doubles as a towel or light gear strap
Who it's for
People who already own a yoga mat and want a hands free way to sling it over a shoulder to class or the gym. Also works for rolling and cinching gym towels or thin exercise mats.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable loops fit various mat thicknesses
- Wide 1.5 inch strap eases shoulder pressure
- Rolls up small for storage
- No mat included, strap only
- Cotton blend, not rated for heavy loads
Performance notes
The loops adjust to cinch around mats of varying roll diameter, and the cotton blend material is described as providing grip against the mat surface to stop it slipping while carried. The 1.5 inch width is aimed at reducing shoulder dig-in over longer carries.
