Overview
Listed as an outdoor cooker, the Unicook CP12012-2 actually measures a flat 12 x 12 x 0.4 inches, dimensions that describe a cook plate rather than a complete cooking appliance.
A cooker with legs, a burner, and a frame would not measure 0.4 inches thick. The far more likely read is a flat cook surface or griddle insert designed to pair with a separate burner or stove base, which the title alone doesn't make clear.
- 12 x 12 x 0.4 inch flat profile
- Reads as a cook plate rather than a complete cooker
- No stated heat source or material
Who it's for
Fits someone who already has a burner or stove base and needs a flat cook surface sized to fit it. Not a fit for someone expecting a complete cooker with its own heat source, since none is described in the specs.
Pros and cons
- Compact 12 x 12 inch footprint fits small cooking setups
- Thin 0.4 inch profile
- No material or fuel type listed
- Not a self-contained cooker despite the category name
Performance notes
A plate this thin transfers heat quickly across its surface once set over a burner, which suits searing or griddling but depends entirely on the heat source underneath it. No burner, fuel type, or material is listed, so how it performs comes down to what it's paired with.
