Overview
Ion technology inside this small wall plug unit is aimed at smoke, pet, trash and cooking odors. It has no filter and uses no chemicals, and a push button controls it.
The reason to consider it is the maintenance free design, since there is no filter to replace and no liquid to refill. The limitation is that only odor reduction is listed, so it is not a replacement for a filtered air purifier.
Who it's for
Pet owners, smokers and cooks who want a small, plug in way to take the edge off odors in one room. Those who need a certified air cleaner for dust, pollen or smoke particles should use a filtered purifier.
Pros and cons
- No filters to replace
- No chemicals needed
- Plugs in with a push button
- Very small and light
- Odors only, no particle claim
- Coverage rated for one room
- No output figure listed
Performance notes
An ionizer releases charged particles into the air, which interact with odor molecules, and the result depends on room size and airflow. The listed floor area is the room size the maker has in mind, and ventilation changes how well it works.
