ASIN: B0FP5SX953Category: Prepared Fishing Baits
Overview
It's built as a scent attractant rather than a hook bait on its own.
Gel-based catfish attractants like this one are typically applied to hooks, dip baits or existing bait to add a stronger scent trail in the water, and the shad-blood combination targets the strong scent cues catfish are known to key in on. The 7 ounce size is confirmed against both the title and the attribute data.
- Gel-based catfish attractant
- Shad-blood scent combination
- 7 ounce single pack
Who it's for
Catfish anglers who want to add scent to existing bait or rigs rather than buy a standalone bait. Not aimed at anglers targeting other freshwater species, since this is formulated specifically for catfish.
Pros and cons
- Confirmed 7 ounce size matching the title
- Shad-blood scent profile aimed specifically at catfish
- No review text available to explain buyer feedback
- Single container only, no multi-pack option shown
Performance notes
As a gel, this bait works by releasing scent into the water over time rather than relying on visual attraction, which matters most in murky or slow-moving water where catfish hunt largely by smell. The shad and blood combination leans on two scent profiles catfish are commonly drawn to. How long a 7 ounce container lasts depends on application rate, which isn't specified in the listing.
