Overview
Bedrooms, dorms and backyards suit this XGIMI projector, which runs Google TV with Netflix, sets itself up automatically and tilts on a stand toward a wall or ceiling. A built-in battery frees it from the outlet for short sessions.
A cordless setup and built-in streaming make spontaneous movie nights simple, and the stand flips the image to the ceiling. Battery video time is short and the brightness is low, so it suits dark rooms and plugged-in movies.
Who it's for
Students, couples and kids' rooms watching shows on the ceiling or a bare wall in the evening. Outdoor movie hosts planning long films away from power need a bigger battery or a power station.
Pros and cons
- Netflix and Google TV built in
- Battery for cord-free use
- Stand aims at wall or ceiling
- Auto focus and keystone
- Short battery video time
- Small built-in speakers
Performance notes
Image quality depends heavily on darkness because the brightness is modest, and the battery limits unplugged viewing to short sessions. Auto focus and keystone redo the setup each time it is moved.
