Overview
Hum Nutrition's Dream Team is a magnesium bisglycinate powder drink mix combining L-theanine and tart cherry, sold in a 5.7-ounce, cherry lemon flavored container covering 30 servings, positioned for rest and relaxation rather than daytime supplementation.
Magnesium bisglycinate is a form commonly chosen for being gentler on digestion than magnesium oxide or citrate, and pairing it with L-theanine and tart cherry places this in the sleep-support drink mix category rather than a general mineral supplement. It mixes as a powder rather than coming in capsule form.
- Magnesium bisglycinate powder drink mix
- Cherry lemon flavor, 30 servings
- Contains L-theanine and tart cherry
- Gluten free and vegan
Who it's for
Fits anyone wanting an evening drink mix that combines magnesium with L-theanine and tart cherry for a wind-down routine. Less suited to anyone wanting a plain magnesium supplement without the added calming ingredients, or a capsule instead of a mixed drink.
Pros and cons
- Magnesium bisglycinate, a gentler form on digestion
- Combines L-theanine and tart cherry in one mix
- Gluten free and vegan
- Rating sits lower than comparable products in this set at 3.8
- Powder drink format means it must be mixed rather than taken as a capsule
Performance notes
The 5.7-ounce container is portioned into 30 servings, so each scoop mixes a single magnesium bisglycinate, L-theanine and tart cherry dose into a drink rather than requiring multiple capsules.
