Overview
Living room walls around a mid-size TV are where this Focal pair goes, hanging flat with slim white cabinets. Each speaker uses two Flax midbass drivers and a TNF tweeter, and it fits in with other Focal ranges.
A slim on-wall pair adds clear dialog and music detail without floor clutter. It links with Focal in-wall and Aria ranges. No stands come in this bundle, and an amplifier is required.
Who it's for
Couples and small families building a tidy stereo or front pair around a wall TV suit it. People without a receiver or amplifier need one first.
Pros and cons
- Slim flat profile
- Detailed Flax driver sound
- White high gloss finish
- Pairs with other Focal ranges
- Stands sold separately
- Needs a separate amplifier
- Modest bass without a subwoofer
Performance notes
Wall mounting reinforces bass from the two midbass cones, which suits the bass reflex design. Sensitivity calls for a receiver with decent power. Placement at ear height beside the screen anchors voices to the picture.
