Overview
A charcoal smoker from Vevor, model KY9072, built with a coated steel body finished in black and weighing about 72.3 lb. It reads as a standalone charcoal smoker rather than a multi-fuel grill, suited to a fixed backyard spot.
Category label and title agree here, so this is straightforwardly a charcoal smoker rather than a mislabeled grill. Vevor's coated steel construction and the roughly 72 lb weight point to a mid-size unit meant to stay put rather than travel.
- Fuel type: charcoal
- Material: coated steel
- Color: black
- Weight: about 72.3 lb
Who it's for
Fits a backyard cook who wants a dedicated charcoal smoker and does not need a combo grill and smoker unit. Less suited to anyone wanting gas convenience or a lightweight, portable design given the weight.
Pros and cons
- Dedicated charcoal smoker body
- Coated steel resists surface rust
- Compact enough for a patio corner
- 72.3 lb weight limits portability
- No stated cooking area or dimensions
Performance notes
Charcoal smokers like this depend on manual airflow and fuel management rather than a thermostat, so results hinge on how the cook manages vents and charcoal placement over the course of a smoke. The coated steel body is meant to resist surface rust outdoors, though gauge thickness and insulation are not listed.
