Overview
Fantastory packs 36 acrylic colors at 60ml each, including 3 metallics, into a 16-piece kit with 12 brushes, a palette, a scraper, a sponge, and a color chart, aimed at crafters working on wood, rock, canvas, or clay.
Waterproof in the listing refers to the cured paint film rather than the wet paint, which behaves as a standard water-based acrylic that washes up with water before it dries. The set's value sits in the bundle, not any single tube; the 16-piece toolkit means a beginner does not need to buy brushes or a palette separately.
- 36 x 60ml acrylic paint tubes, 3 metallic shades
- 16-piece kit: 12 brushes, palette, scraper, sponge, chart
- ASTM D-4236 certified, non-toxic and odorless
- Multi-surface: wood, rock, canvas, clay, fabric
Who it's for
Beginners and hobbyists who want a full color range plus tools in one box for wood, rock, canvas, or clay projects. Less suited to an experienced painter who already owns brushes and prefers to buy paint by the tube.
Pros and cons
- 36 colors including 3 metallics
- 12 brushes plus palette, scraper, and sponge included
- Works on wood, rock, clay, canvas, and fabric
- ASTM D-4236 certified, non-toxic
- Bundled brushes are entry level, not professional grade
- 60ml tubes may run low on big canvases
Performance notes
With 36 tubes at 60ml each, the set covers a wide color range without needing to mix as many custom shades, and the 3 metallic tubes add shine for details on rock painting, ornaments, or mixed-media pieces. The included palette knife and sponge support texture work such as impasto and stippling beyond flat brush strokes.
