Nightforce NX6 1-6x24mm F2 Riflescope

Overview

The Nightforce NX6 1-6x24mm F2 is a second focal plane riflescope built for speed at low power, with capped finger-adjustable turrets and an illuminated 4A-i reticle for hunting and tactical use.

Unlike the higher-magnification NX6 models in the same line, this one is built around fast target engagement rather than long range precision. Second focal plane keeps the reticle a consistent size on screen at every power setting, which favors quick sight pictures at 1x over holdover precision at high magnification. Capped turrets, rather than exposed ones, point toward a hunting or patrol use case where accidental adjustment during movement is the bigger concern.

• 1-6x second focal plane magnification
• 24mm objective lens
• Capped, finger-adjustable windage and elevation turrets
• Illuminated 4A-i reticle with center dot

Who it's for

Hunters and tactical shooters who need a fast, wide field of view at 1x and clear target identification up to 6x, especially where the rifle sees rough handling. Long range shooters who need FFP holdover precision should look at Nightforce's higher-magnification NX6 models instead.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The second focal plane 4A-i reticle uses thick outer bars and fine center stadia lines to draw the eye to center quickly, with an illuminated center dot for low light. Finger-adjustable elevation lets you make quick corrections without tools, while the capped design guards against bumps during carry.
