Osawalla AI Smart Glasses with 1080P Camera

Overview

Osawalla's camera-equipped smart glasses combine an 8MP stabilized camera with a ChatGPT-based voice assistant and translation for 139-plus languages, all in a 40.8g TR90 frame. Built for buyers who want point-of-view photo and video capture plus an AI assistant in one lightweight pair.

The 8MP camera with EIS stabilization is the headline feature here, offering six selectable clip lengths from 15 seconds up to 12 minutes, more range than most competitors that cap out near 3 minutes. The voice assistant, branded Hey Cyan, runs on a ChatGPT model and adds object and landmark recognition on top of translation. Osawalla notes the photochromic lenses darken more slowly indoors or in winter due to weaker UV, worth knowing before expecting instant tint changes.

• 8MP camera with EIS stabilization, 1080P video
• Clip lengths from 15 seconds to 12 minutes
• Hey Cyan AI assistant with object recognition
• 139+ language real-time translation

Who it's for

Suits travelers, students and content creators who want longer hands-free clips than typical smart glasses allow, plus object recognition for identifying menus, landmarks and plants on the move. Less suited to anyone wanting sunglasses that tint quickly indoors, since the photochromic response depends on UV strength.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The 8MP camera shoots 1080P video with EIS stabilization and a choice of six clip lengths, giving more flexibility than fixed-length competitors. Hey Cyan handles voice commands, object recognition and translation across 139-plus languages, while Bluetooth 5.4 covers music and calls through open-ear speakers with touch controls. At 40.8g with a TR90 frame and ABS temples, the build targets all-day wear, and the 290mAh battery is rated for 7 hours of music playback or 7 days standby, with an IP65 rating for splashes.
