Overview
The Meta Fury is another frame in Meta's AI glasses lineup, built around a sunglasses-style shape rather than the Adventurer's everyday frame. It carries the same Hey Meta voice assistant, built-in camera and open-ear speakers for hands-free capture and calls.
Despite appearing in a sunglasses accessories listing, the feature set of translation, voice-triggered photo and video, music streaming and calling matches Meta's other AI glasses rather than a plain sunglasses accessory. The styling, not the function, is what sets Fury apart from Adventurer.
- Voice-activated Meta AI assistant via Hey Meta
- Built-in camera for hands-free photo and video
- Sunglasses-style frame within Meta's AI glasses lineup
- Six microphones plus open-ear speaker audio
Who it's for
Suits someone who wants the sunglasses look along with the same hands-free assistant, camera and calling features as Meta's other AI glasses. Not the right pick if a clear, everyday lens matters more than a tinted frame.
Pros and cons
- Same hands-free camera and assistant as Meta's other AI glasses
- Sunglasses-style frame for outdoor wear
- Open-ear speakers keep audio private without sealing the ear
- Music streaming needs a separate paid account
- Rated lower than the Adventurer model in the same lineup
- No lens tint or UV detail given in the spec sheet
Performance notes
The assistant wakes on Hey Meta for live translation, hands-free photo or video capture, and calling, including WhatsApp video calls that share the wearer's view. Six built-in microphones cut background noise, and open-ear speakers play linked Spotify, Apple Music or Audible audio without blocking ambient sound.
