Overview
Fluest's BED618 queen frame pairs a wood-and-metal headboard with built-in LED lighting, a recessed charging station and 11.6 inches of under-bed storage, built on 12 metal slats rated to 800 pounds.
The charging station adds two outlets, a USB port and a USB-C port, so the headboard can double as a bedside charging spot. Foam strips under each slat are meant to cut the squeaking common to metal frames, and a high footboard is built to stop a mattress from sliding. It comes in black, brown or grey.
- 2 outlets plus usb and usb-c ports
- 800 pound rated 12-slat frame
- High footboard keeps mattress from sliding
- Three finishes: black, brown, grey
Who it's for
Fits anyone furnishing a queen bedroom who wants integrated lighting and charging without adding a box spring. Not the right pick for someone who wants a bare-bones platform frame with nothing to wire or set up.
Pros and cons
- Built-in charging station with usb-c port
- Led headboard lighting with app control
- 11.6 inch under-bed storage space
- Mattress not included with the frame
- Led and charging add wiring to manage
- Available only in one size, queen
Performance notes
The headboard LEDs run through an app or remote, with adjustable color, brightness and a timer. The 12-slat base is rated to 800 pounds and each slat carries a foam strip meant to stop metal-on-metal noise. The 11.6 inch gap underneath is deep enough for bins or a vacuum to pass under without moving the bed.
