Overview
A 12 gallon trash can with a swing-top and lift-up lid, Clorox odor protection built into the lid, and a linkable design for pairing with additional Glad Link and Sort bins.
The linking system is the notable part: this can is sold on its own but is designed to connect side by side with other Link and Sort bins for a multi-stream trash, recycling, and compost setup. It ships with peel-and-apply labels for all three plus blank stickers for custom sorting.
- 12 gallon capacity with a swing and lift lid
- Clorox odor protection built into the lid
- Links with additional Link and Sort bins
- Made from 100 percent recovered plastic
Who it's for
Fits a kitchen or office that wants a single 12 gallon bin now with the option to link on a recycling or compost bin later, and anyone who wants a lid that swings for quick drops but also lifts fully open for bulkier items. Not the pick for someone who wants a multi-bin sorting station out of the box, since this listing is the single can.
Pros and cons
- Lid swings for quick use or lifts fully open for bigger items
- Odor protection is built into the lid surface
- Links with additional Link and Sort bins
- Made from 100 percent recovered plastic in the US
- This listing is a single bin, not a multi-bin sorting set
Performance notes
The lid works two ways: a swing-top opening for quick, one-handed disposal, and a full lift-up mode with stay-open capability for larger or bulkier items. Clorox odor protection is built into the lid surface itself rather than added as a separate insert, and the bin is molded from 100 percent recovered plastic in the US.
