Overview
AOC pairs a QD-OLED panel at QHD resolution with a very high refresh rate in this gaming monitor, aimed at PC and console players alike. A fully adjustable stand, a USB hub and flicker-free operation round it out.
Buy it for OLED contrast and very wide color with smooth, tear-free motion on PC, PlayStation or Xbox. The glossy finish shows reflections in bright rooms, and full-screen brightness is modest.
Who it's for
Suited to gamers and creators who play or edit in controlled lighting. Office workers with static toolbars on screen all day should weigh OLED burn-in care.
Pros and cons
- Very fast refresh and response
- Wide DCI-P3 color
- HDMI 2.1 for consoles
- Fully adjustable stand
- Glossy screen reflects light
- Modest 200 nit brightness
- Static images need OLED care
Performance notes
Self-emitting pixels switch extremely fast, so motion clarity tracks the frame rate the GPU or console sends. The quantum dot layer drives the wide color, and adaptive sync matches refresh to the source to stop tearing.
