Overview
Not a flat streaming speaker, this is a retro boombox with a working cassette deck and recorder, a radio and Bluetooth. A carrying handle, LCD display and VU meters complete the vintage look.
One stereo covers tapes, radio stations, phone streaming and card or flash playback, with enough output for a backyard. The limits are weight and size, and a listing that gives no battery details.
Who it's for
Backyard parties, picnics and living room shelves where tapes still get played alongside phone streaming. Travelers counting grams should look at a smaller speaker.
Pros and cons
- Plays and records cassettes
- Bluetooth, FM and AM radio
- Multiple input options
- LCD display and VU meters
- Heavy and bulky
- Battery details not listed
- Retro controls need learning
Performance notes
Output power sets how loud and clean the sound stays at party volume, and the listing rates it at the listed wattage. Tape sound depends on cassette condition and the deck heads. Bluetooth range and radio reception depend on distance and signal strength.
