Overview
A flip hinge lets this controller fold down under a phone plugged into its USB-C connector, adding a D-pad and four face buttons for portrait play. Flipping it open frees the screen for a call or message.
Direct USB-C means no pairing or charging, and the clicky buttons suit retro and controller-supported games. It offers only a D-pad and face buttons, so modern shooters needing sticks are out.
Who it's for
Commuters and retro fans playing emulated or controller-friendly mobile games in short sessions. Players of modern three-dimensional games need a full controller with sticks.
Pros and cons
- No pairing or batteries
- Fits over most cases
- Durable hinge and port ratings
- Clicky D-pad and buttons
- No analog sticks
- Portrait play only
- Needs a USB-C phone
Performance notes
Input response comes from the wired USB-C link, which avoids wireless lag. The hinge lets the controller flip away for calls without unplugging, and game support depends on whether the title accepts controller input.
