Overview
A pack of three clear plastic bobbers from Torpedo, each weighing about 1/8 ounce. Sized and marketed for fly presentations rather than heavier bait or lure rigs.
At 1/8 ounce apiece, these sit on the light end of the bobber spectrum, built for detecting subtle takes on fly gear rather than for casting distance or holding back heavy bait. Clear plastic keeps them low-profile on the water. The three-pack format means a spare or two is already on hand if one gets lost or cracks.
- Clear plastic construction
- 1/8 ounce each
- Pack of 3
- Built for fly technique
Who it's for
Fly anglers who want a small strike indicator for light rigs, or panfish anglers using similarly light setups. Not built for surf casting or any rig needing weight to carry a bait out.
Pros and cons
- Low-profile clear plastic won't spook line-shy fish
- Three-pack includes spares
- Light enough for fly presentations
- Too light to add casting distance for bait rigs
Performance notes
Clear plastic keeps the bobber low-key on the water's surface, useful when fish are line-shy. The light 1/8 ounce weight means these won't add meaningful casting weight, so they work best on rigs already balanced for fly or light spinning line.
