Overview
A water-resistant red nylon bag holds the seed in this EarthWay spreader, which is made for outdoor use. Hunters, farmers and gardeners use it to scatter seed over food plots, lawns and fields.
Light weight and a bag design make it easy to carry through rough ground where a wheeled spreader would struggle. Operating details and spread width are missing from the listing, and the warranty is short.
Who it's for
Overseeding a lawn or planting a plot with a hand-carried bag works for uneven ground. Owners who want measured coverage on large turf areas should look at a rolling spreader.
Pros and cons
- Water-resistant nylon bag
- Light enough to carry full
- Suits seed, lawn and food plots
- Red color is easy to spot
- Operating mechanism not described
- Spread width not listed
- Short warranty period
Performance notes
A bag carried on the body leaves the hands free to operate the seeder and lets the user walk any terrain. Coverage depends on walking pace and how the spreader is operated, which the listing does not describe.
