Overview
Coleman's padded camping chair pairs a cushioned seat and back with a built-in 4-can cooler in the armrest, a mesh cup holder, and side pockets, folding into an included carry bag for tailgates, firepits, and patios. Steel frame rated to 325 lbs.
The armrest cooler pouch (Coleman calls it Coleman Cold) is the feature that sets this apart from a plain folding chair, holding four cans within reach so nobody has to get up mid-fire. The steel frame and roomy 24-inch seat point this toward car camping and tailgating rather than a pack-in trip.
- Coleman Cold 4-can cooler built into the armrest
- Roomy 24-inch cushioned seat
- Adjustable arm heights
- Carry bag included
Who it's for
Suits campers, tailgaters, and backyard sitters who want a cushioned seat with a drink and phone within reach. Not aimed at backpackers who need something light enough to carry on foot.
Pros and cons
- Built-in 4-can cooler in the armrest
- Cushioned seat and back
- Side pockets and mesh cup holder
- Supports up to 325 lbs
- Steel frame and cooler add weight versus a basic folding chair
- Fixed 24-inch seat width, not adjustable
- No listed packed dimensions for planning trunk space
Performance notes
A steel frame supports up to 325 lbs, with adjustable arm heights and a 24-inch seat at an 18.1-inch sitting height for a stable, chair-like feel rather than a low camp stool. The cushioned seat and back are polyester, and side pockets keep small items off the ground.
