A light three pack of license free FRS radios with flashlights and USB-C charging for family outings and hikes. Range is short and the water resistance entries conflict, so keep them dry.

Overview
Not a long range business radio, the Retevis three pack is a set of small FRS walkie talkies with short antennas and built in flashlights. Each charges by Type-C and carries an emergency alarm button.
Families and small groups get three radios with chargers and clips for camping and hikes. The stated range is modest, and the listing conflicts on whether they resist water.
Who it's for
Families at campsites, theme parks and trailheads will use them to stay in touch. Groups spread across miles of terrain or in heavy rain need sturdier radios.
Pros and cons
- Three radios in one pack
- Built in flashlight
- Short antenna resists snagging
- Adjustable squelch levels
- Water resistance listed inconsistently
- Only sixteen channels
Performance notes
Range depends on terrain and obstacles, so open ground gives the most distance. Squelch levels filter background noise between transmissions. Standby time stretches battery life when the radios sit idle on a belt.
