Overview
Converting from a grass trimmer to an in-line edger takes one tool, cleaning up yard borders, sidewalks, driveways and garden edges. A long shaft, auxiliary handle and flower guard help with control.
Low weight and a flower guard make it easy to work around plants, and the adjustable width trades runtime against coverage. The battery capacity limits how long one charge lasts.
Who it's for
Homeowners who want a light tool for routine trimming and edging around trees, beds and fences. Big lawns or heavy overgrowth call for a longer-running tool.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight for tight spaces
- Converts to an in-line edger
- Adjustable cutting width
- Flower guard protects plants

Performance notes
The adjustable cutting width lets the user trade runtime against coverage, and the auto feed line advances without bumping. A long shaft and auxiliary handle improve control, while the guard shields plants and lawn features from the spinning line.
