Overview
Havit sets a row of USB-powered fans beneath an ABS plastic deck so air moves under the laptop while it runs. A single USB cable powers the fans from the laptop, and adjustable height settings tilt the deck for viewing and typing.
Raising the laptop and pushing air under it helps a large machine that runs warm on a desk. Its plastic build and plain feature set mean the listing names no extras such as a USB passthrough or a speed dial.
Who it's for
Long gaming or work sessions at a home desk, where a big laptop gets hot underneath, are what it serves. Owners of compact notebooks, or anyone needing adjustable fan speed, should keep looking.
Pros and cons
- Three fans spread airflow under the base
- Powered from a laptop USB port
- Two height settings for typing comfort
- Sized for larger laptops
- Fan speed control not listed
- Uses up one laptop USB port
- Plastic ABS body
- Too large for small laptops
Performance notes
Cooling depends on how much air the fans push toward the laptop's intake vents, so results vary with where a given laptop draws air. Raising the rear also opens space under the chassis for heat to escape. Fan noise and speed are not specified, so the quiet claim cannot be measured from the listing.
