Overview
Not a liquid cooler, the ICE COOREL MeFee RGB pad cools a large gaming laptop with air from a set of fans under a metal panel. A button control operates the pad, and RGB lighting adds color to the desk.
Large gaming laptops get a pad sized to match, with many fans under a metal surface. The listing says little else: power source, fan speed and noise levels are all missing, which makes it hard to know what to expect.
Who it's for
Suited to a desk setup with a big gaming laptop that runs warm under load. Owners of small laptops and shoppers who need documented power and noise specs should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- 6 fans for broad airflow coverage
- Metal panel surface
- Sized for 15.6 to 21 inch laptops
- Described as portable
- Power source and cable not listed
- Too large for laptops under 15.6 inches
- Big footprint on a desk
- Fan speed and noise figures absent
Performance notes
Cooling comes from fans moving air toward the laptop's underside through the metal panel, so results depend on how well the laptop's vents line up with the fans. With no airflow or fan speed figures given, the cooling effect cannot be quantified from the listing.
