Overview
Not an internal cooler or a replacement fan, the Mars Gaming MNBC2 is an external pad that goes under a laptop and blows air at its underside. It adds red LED lighting and built-in USB ports in a black and red metal and plastic body.
Room for large gaming laptops and a multi-fan layout give big machines more airflow underneath. Thin listing data leaves fan speed, power source and adjustment unknown.
Who it's for
Gamers running a big notebook on a desk for long sessions get extra airflow and matching red lighting. People who need documented tilt settings or fan speed figures should look for a more detailed listing.
Pros and cons
- Takes large gaming laptops
- Multiple fans spread airflow
- Red LED lighting
- Built-in USB 2.0 ports
- Fan speed and tilt settings not listed
- Fan count differs between listing fields
- USB 2.0, not USB 3.0
- Lighting is red only
Performance notes
Cooling depends on how well the laptop's intake vents line up with the fans beneath it, since the pad only moves air toward the underside. Laptops that draw air from the sides or rear gain less from a pad than ones with bottom intakes.
