Overview
Four patented loops backed by reflectors gather over-the-air signals on this ClearStream antenna, focusing gain toward the towers to reduce pixelation. A pivoting mast lets it mount on a wall, roof or attic beam.
Cord cutters far from towers get a large antenna that works outdoors or in an attic for free network channels. It needs room and aiming, and it cannot bring in cable channels.
Who it's for
Rural and suburban homes with towers at a distance suit it, especially with an attic or roof spot. Apartment dwellers needing a small window antenna should look at a compact flat model.
Pros and cons
- Long range with reflector gain
- Covers UHF and VHF
- Indoor, attic or outdoor mounting
- Pivoting mast base
- Large frame needs space
- Coaxial cable not listed
- Reception varies by tower location
Performance notes
Reception depends on tower distance and obstacles like trees and building materials. The reflectors add forward gain, so aiming the loops toward the towers matters more than height alone.
