Overview
Cambridge SoundWorks built the OontZ Angle 3 Gen 4 as a compact 12W Bluetooth speaker with IPX5 splash resistance and a rated 24-hour playtime. Its triangular shape houses two drivers plus a downward passive radiator, aimed at listeners who want everyday sound without carrying anything large.
USB-C charging brings this model in line with current phones and laptops, so one cable can cover both. IPX5 covers splashes and light rain, not submersion, so it suits a poolside table more than a swim. At 10 ounces it favors portability over room-filling volume.
- 12W output from dual drivers plus a passive radiator
- 100-foot rated Bluetooth range
- 3.5mm aux input for wired sources
- Built-in speakerphone microphone
Who it's for
Good for anyone who wants a grab-and-go speaker for the yard, shower, or a small gathering. Not aimed at buyers chasing deep bass or maximum wireless range in a crowded building.
Pros and cons
- USB-C charging cable included
- Rated 24-hour playtime at moderate volume
- IPX5 splash and rain resistance
- Compact 10-ounce body
- No description or review data provided for this listing
- IPX5 does not cover full submersion
Performance notes
The dual acoustic drivers split mids and highs while a downward-facing passive radiator adds low end without a dedicated subwoofer, which is how the compact triangular body manages fuller sound than its size suggests. Bluetooth range is rated to 100 feet in open space, though walls and other obstructions will shorten that in practice.
