Overview
The DOSS SoundBox Touch is a 12W stereo Bluetooth speaker with capacitive touch controls and IPX5 splash resistance, built for indoor rooms and casual outdoor use rather than full submersion.
DOSS pitches this as an indoor speaker first, its category copy leads with house, office and bedroom use, with poolside splash resistance as a secondary benefit rather than the main pitch. The touch-panel controls stand out against the button layouts on most speakers in this price range.
- 12W dual-driver stereo sound
- 20 hour rated battery at 50% volume
- Capacitive touch controls
- IPX5 splash resistance
Who it's for
Works for anyone wanting a moderately powered speaker for a desk, bedroom or office that can also handle a splash outdoors. Not the choice for anyone who needs it fully submersible, IPX5 covers splashes and light rain, not swimming or full dunking.
Pros and cons
- Touch controls for volume, tracks and pairing
- 20 hour rated playtime at moderate volume
- 12W dual-driver stereo output
- Splash resistant for poolside or patio use

Performance notes
Dual drivers deliver the rated 12W stereo output, and the capacitive touch panel replaces physical buttons for track changes, volume and pairing. The built-in lithium-ion battery is rated for 20 hours at 50 percent volume, with a 3 to 4 hour recharge over the included micro USB cable, and the IPX5 rating protects against splashes rather than submersion.
