Overview
A backyard corner turned forest cottage is the setting for the Backyard Discovery Woodland, a cedar playset with a raised clubhouse, balcony and diamond peepholes. Below it, an octagon playhouse with a half door opens onto a snack counter with three benches, next to a long wave slide, two belt swings and a trapeze.
Storybook cottage styling with room for a crowd is the reason to buy. It is tall and heavy, so it needs a large level area and a committed assembly day.
Who it's for
Families with several young children and neighborhood friends fit here. Anyone short on yard height or width should choose a compact set.
Pros and cons
- Cottage clubhouse with balcony
- Octagon playhouse with half door
- Snack counter with benches
- Long one-piece slide
- Tall and wide footprint
- Heavy, lengthy build
Performance notes
A one-piece slide gives a ride without joins along the chute, and the step ladder offers an easier climb than the rock wall. Cedar and the factory stain handle outdoor exposure with natural decay resistance.
