Overview
Pre-cut, pre-drilled cedar beams form the frame of the Backyard Discovery Beach Front, with a raised canopy deck, ship's wheel and telescope on top. Below is a shaded sandbox and snack bar, while swings, monkey bars and a wave slide hang off the sides.
Many play zones on one frame let a group of kids climb, swing and dig at the same time. It needs a large flat yard and a long assembly session, and sand is a separate purchase.
Who it's for
Families with multiple young children and room to spare get a full play area in one set. Small yards or renters should look at a compact swing frame.
Pros and cons
- Decay resistant cedar
- Many play zones at once
- Wave slide and monkey bars
- Sandbox and snack bar below
- Needs a large yard
- Sand not included
Performance notes
Cedar resists rot and insects, but the stain will need refreshing over the years to stay protected. Stability depends on level ground and correct assembly. Play capacity is spread across the deck, swings and sandbox so kids are not crowded.
