A watersports-brand pick for pet flotation, though this record is too thin on size and material specs to judge fit without checking the listing directly.

Overview
The O'Brien Pet Life Vest (model 2161754) is a flotation vest for dogs from O'Brien, a brand known for water sports gear, despite being filed here under the Car Seats category.
Amazon's own category label calls this a car seat, but the title and brand point clearly to a flotation vest instead, so trust the product name over the listing category. Beyond the model number, this record carries no size, material or buoyancy specs, so confirm those details on the actual product page before ordering, especially fit around the chest and neck.
- Model number 2161754
- Branded as an O'Brien Pet Life Vest
- Listed under Car Seats despite being a flotation vest
Who it's for
Fits dog owners who take their pets boating, paddling or swimming and want extra buoyancy and visibility on the water. Not the right result for anyone actually shopping for a pet car seat.
Pros and cons
- Comes from a brand established in water sports gear
- Purpose-built as a flotation vest, not a seat
- No sizing, material or buoyancy specs provided here
- Listing category says Car Seats, which is incorrect
Performance notes
As a life vest rather than a car seat, the job here is buoyancy: keeping a dog's head above water and making it easier to spot and retrieve in an emergency. This listing does not include buoyancy rating, sizing or material details, so those should be checked on the live product page rather than assumed.
