Overview
Printing high volumes of black text across a shared network is the job of this Kyocera ECOSYS laser. It accepts jobs over Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and mobile services, and a stackless duplex unit prints both sides without parking pages.
Speed and paper capacity are the reasons to choose it: it runs long jobs with few refills. Being a print only monochrome device, it cannot scan or copy, and dimensions are missing from the listing.
Who it's for
Workgroups and departments that print reports and forms all day from computers and phones. Single users wanting scan or copy functions should look at a multifunction model.
Pros and cons
- Fast monochrome engine
- Large expandable paper capacity
- Two line LCD for setup
- AirPrint, Mopria and Google Cloud Print
- Print only, no scan or copy
- Box contents not listed
- Dimensions and weight not listed
Performance notes
Throughput comes from a fast monochrome engine fed by a large paper path, so long jobs run without refills. The stackless duplex flips each sheet immediately, which lets two-sided output move without a holding tray.
