Overview
A teacher, office manager or event organizer gets five small aluminum drives to hand out documents, slides and forms. Each plugs into a USB Type A port, and the cap clips onto the back end while in use.
Five drives at once suit sharing files with several people when you do not expect them back. The small capacity and slow older USB transfer limit them to documents and light media.
Who it's for
Schools, offices and trainers distributing paperwork or slide decks get enough drives for a small group. People backing up phone photos or video need far more space.
Pros and cons
- Five drives per pack
- Cap stores on the drive end
- Long five year warranty
- Small capacity for photos or video
- Slow USB 2.0 transfers
- Write speed listed without a unit
Performance notes
Copy speed is capped by the older USB interface, so even a fast port will not speed it up. Small office files move quickly while larger media takes noticeably longer. The metal shell protects the drive in pockets and bags.
