Overview
A five-pack of PNY's Turbo Attache 3 flash drives, each holding 128GB with USB 3.0 read speeds up to 100MB/s. The sliding collar design covers the connector without a separate cap to lose.
Sold as a pack of five, this suits anyone who needs to hand out or stock multiple drives at once, such as an office, classroom, or family sharing files, rather than a single premium drive for one person. Read speed is rated at up to 100MB/s; write speed is not specified in the listing, so treat that figure as read performance only.
- 128GB capacity per drive, five drives per pack
- USB 3.0 with read speeds up to 100MB/s
- Sliding collar, cap-less design
- Backward compatible with USB 2.0
Who it's for
Offices, teachers, or households that need several reliable USB 3.0 drives on hand for file transfer and backup. Less useful for anyone who only needs one drive or who wants a drive rated for write-heavy workloads.
Pros and cons
- Five drives in one purchase
- USB 3.0 read speeds up to 100MB/s
- Cap-less sliding collar design
- Backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports
- Write speed not specified
- Plastic body is lightweight, not rugged
- 128GB per drive limits large media libraries
Performance notes
USB 3.0 gives these drives up to 100MB/s read speed, roughly 10 times a USB 2.0 drive, while staying backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports at that older port's slower speed. The sliding collar protects the connector without a separate cap, which is the main mechanical detail setting this apart from a bare stick drive.
