Overview
Not a pocket tool, this is a full-length hand-held metal detector with an LCD display, a set of programs and a waterproof coil. The listing describes it as made in the USA for adults, with accessories added.
A waterproof coil, long battery life and a set of programs let it work in wet ground and for long sessions between battery changes. The limitation is detail: the listing gives no detection depth, frequency or weight, and does not say what accessories come with it.
Who it's for
A hobbyist searching ground that may be wet, with a coil that can get wet, fits this. The programs give ready-made settings. Those who need technical figures before buying should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Waterproof search coil
- Long average battery life
- Made in the USA
- Detection depth not listed
Performance notes
The coil sends and receives the signal that finds metal, so coil size and soil conditions decide how deep it finds targets, and coil size is not listed. The LCD and programs control how it responds to different targets. Battery life is an average, so real hours vary with use.
