Overview
Searching all kinds of terrain, including wet ground, the Minelab X-Terra PRO is a waterproof detector with a large search coil and an LCD. The title calls out a feature named Pro-Switch technology.
A waterproof build lets you search shallow water and wet ground, and a large coil covers more ground per sweep. The detector is light for its size. What the listing does not give is detection depth, frequency, the feature list behind Pro-Switch or how deep it can go underwater.
Who it's for
Detecting hobbyists who search wet or varied ground will use the waterproof body and large coil. Buyers who want stated depth figures, a program list or accessory compatibility should confirm these with the seller.
Pros and cons
- Fully waterproof per the title
- Large search coil
- Pro-Switch technology named
- Depth and frequency not listed
- Waterproof depth limit not stated
- Accessory compatibility not described
Performance notes
A larger coil covers more ground with each sweep, and a waterproof body allows searching in wet conditions. Real depth depends on target size, ground conditions and settings, and the listing gives no figures. The Pro-Switch feature is named but not explained.
