Overview
The AQUA CREST AQF-FF23-WF is a 3-pack coconut shell carbon block water filter built to replace GE's GSWF filter and Kenmore's 46-9914, 469914 and 9914 filters, certified to NSF 42 and 372 standards.
This is a compatibility part, so the listed model numbers matter more than any marketing claim: it's meant to slot into the same GSWF-style housing GE and Kenmore fridges already use, not into other filter shapes.
- Coconut shell carbon block filtration
- NSF 42 and 372 certified
- Fits GE GSWF and Kenmore 46-9914 style housings
- Rated for 6 months or 300 gallons
Who it's for
This suits owners of GE refrigerators that take the GSWF filter, or Kenmore models calling for the 46-9914, 469914 or 9914 filter, who want a lower-cost replacement. It won't fit refrigerators using a different filter shape or housing, so confirm your original part number first.
Pros and cons
- One buyer had to manually seat the O-ring
- Reduces some contaminants, not a full purification system
