Overview
Toca makes this djembe in its Origin series with a wood shell and a small playing head. Nothing else is described, so the drum is best treated as a basic hand drum.
A compact wood djembe suits a player who wants a small, traditional-material hand drum. The listing offers no information on the head, tuning, weight or warranty, so questions should go to the seller before buying.
Who it's for
Suitable for someone who wants a compact wood drum for practice or casual circles and does not mind limited detail. Players choosing on tuning system or head material need more information than this listing gives.
Pros and cons
- Compact playing size
- Head type not stated
- Weight and dimensions not listed
- Warranty not given
Performance notes
A wood shell resonates differently from a synthetic one, and the small head favors a quick, higher attack. The listing does not describe the tuning method, so how the head is tightened is unknown.
