Overview
A small storage ottoman from Songmics measuring 15 by 15 by 15.7 inches, built with MDF panels and metal corner guards, rated to hold up to 661.4 pounds. It works as a footrest, extra seat or small coffee table with about 10 gallons of storage underneath the lid.
The linen-look fabric and high-density foam top are built for a compact footprint, so this suits a bedroom, dorm or a spot beside a chair rather than a full living room centerpiece. Four plastic feet with non-slip pads keep it off the floor and steady on hard surfaces.
- 15 x 15 x 15.7 in footprint
- Static load rated to 661.4 lb
- About 10 gallon (37 L) storage capacity
- Non-slip plastic feet, folds flat
Who it's for
Buyers who need a small footrest or extra seat with hidden storage in a tight space, such as a bedroom, dorm room or beside a reading chair. Less suited to anyone wanting a long bench for multiple people.
Pros and cons
- Rated for up to 661.4 lb static load
- About 10 gallons of hidden storage
- Non-slip feet protect floors
- Folds flat for storage when unused
- Compact 15 in size limits it to one person
- Not a bench for multiple seated adults
Performance notes
The lid is reinforced with metal corner guards and the frame uses thick MDF panels, which is what lets it carry a 661.4 pound static load despite the compact size. Setup involves unfolding the fabric shell, inserting the bottom panel and attaching the four feet, and it folds back down for storage when not in use.
