Overview
An automatic squelch circuit and ANL, NB and HI-CUT filters do the heavy lifting in this compact President CB radio, cutting noise between transmissions. It runs on vehicle power, adds weather alerts and has a USB socket for charging a phone.
A small body, weather alerts and strong noise filtering suit truckers and off-roaders who want a no-fuss CB. No antenna comes in the box, so real range depends on the antenna you add.
Who it's for
Trucks, vans and off-road rigs with limited dash space. Radio hobbyists wanting more modes should look at a bigger set.
Pros and cons
- Compact body for tight cabs
- Weather channel alerts
- Strong noise filtering
- USB charging socket
- Antenna not included
- Dimension fields conflict in listing
Performance notes
CB range depends far more on the antenna and its tuning than on the radio, so a well-matched antenna sets real-world distance. The automatic squelch mutes static between calls, while the filters cut ignition and engine noise.
