Overview
Radioddity packs a full CB radio into a small box that mounts out of sight, with every control on the handset. The removable mic has a color LCD, a speaker and noise cancellation.
Hiding the body and running everything from the mic suits cramped Jeeps and side-by-sides. An antenna and coax are separate purchases.
Who it's for
Jeeps, UTVs and small truck cabs suit a radio that tucks under a seat. Drivers wanting a big front-panel radio or a handheld should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Very small body mounts anywhere
- Controls on the handset
- Privacy codes for team use
- Works with external speakers
- No antenna included
- Not water resistant
- Small screen in bright sun
Performance notes
Range depends on the antenna and its tuning more than the radio. Active noise cancellation strips engine noise from your voice before it goes out, and RF gain cuts down on strong nearby signals.
