Overview
A citric acid based powder cleaner for dishwashers, sold as an 8 pack of 14.08 oz containers, aimed at hard water buildup and lingering odor rather than daily dish washing itself.
Lemi Shine positions this as a plant based alternative to chlorine based dishwasher cleaners, backed by EPA Safer Choice certification. Because it ships as separate powder containers rather than pre measured tablets, dosing is left to the user instead of a single drop in tab.
- 8 containers, 14.08 oz each
- Citric acid based formula
- EPA Safer Choice certified
- Lemon scented
Who it's for
Households in hard water areas who want an EPA certified, plant based formula and do not mind measuring powder rather than using a pre dosed tablet.
Pros and cons
- EPA Safer Choice certified formula
- Plant based and biodegradable per the listing
- 8 pack keeps a long supply on hand
- Powder needs measuring, not a drop in tablet
- Marketed mainly at hard water, less emphasis on grease
- No customer review data supplied for this listing
Performance notes
Citric acid is the active descaling agent, working on mineral deposits and hard water film rather than targeting grease specifically. The Safer Choice certification and biodegradable, plant based claim point to a formula built around that single acid rather than a broad multi ingredient detergent blend.
