Overview
A citric acid descaling tablet sold in a 24 count box, about a two year supply at once a month, with a specific caution in the listing to monitor the dishwasher for foam or leaking during the first cycle.
The seller is unusually explicit that this is a one tablet per cycle product, if a second treatment is needed it should run as its own separate cycle rather than two tablets combined, since the listing warns extra tablets can cause excess foam that affects function. That is a more specific usage caution than most cleaners in this category spell out.
- 24 tablets, about 12 to 24 months supply
- Compatible with GE, Bosch, Whirlpool, Samsung and more
- One tablet per cycle, two separate cycles if extra cleaning is needed
- Citric acid descaling formula
Who it's for
Buyers wanting a large supply of descaling tablets at once, provided they are willing to watch the first cycle for foaming before trusting the machine to run unattended.
Pros and cons
- 24 count is roughly two years at monthly use
- Lists compatibility across most major dishwasher brands
- Citric acid formula targets scale and grease together
- Listing warns of possible foam or water leaking, monitor the first cycle
- Not meant to be doubled up in one cycle
- No customer review data supplied for this listing
Performance notes
A citric acid tablet meant to cut lime, scale, grease and grime in the jets, tubes and filter. The listing's own caution, that combining tablets in a single cycle can produce excess foam, suggests a concentrated formula that needs the one per cycle limit respected rather than doubled for extra strength.
