Overview
A 17 pound box of Purina Tidy Cats clumping clay litter in the LightWeight line, scented with Glade Clear Springs and formulated for low dust and multi cat households.
The LightWeight branding refers to the litter being less dense per scoop than standard clay litter, not a change in litter type, since clay remains the material listed here. The Glade Clear Springs scent is a fragrance addition on top of the base clumping formula.
- 17 lb box, clumping clay litter
- Glade Clear Springs scent
- Low dust formula
- Multi cat formula
Who it's for
Multi cat households wanting a scented, low dust clumping litter that is lighter to carry and pour than standard clay litter. Owners or cats sensitive to fragranced litter should choose an unscented option instead.
Pros and cons
- Low dust formula
- Lighter to carry than standard clay litter
- Clumps for easy scooping
- Scented, not suited to fragrance sensitive cats
- Still a clay based litter, not a biodegradable alternative
Performance notes
The clumping action is built for easy scoop removal, while the low dust formulation is meant to cut down on airborne particles during pouring and scooping. Being a lightweight formula, the 17 pound box carries less densely packed material than standard clay litter of the same weight class.
