Overview
Purina Tidy Cats LightWeight Free and Clean is an unscented, clumping clay litter built for multi-cat households, sold in a 17 lb box with a 99.9 percent dust free formula.
This is the lightweight version of Tidy Cats, so the box carries less weight than standard clay litter while still clumping for scooping. It skips added fragrance, relying on the low-dust clay itself rather than perfume to keep the box tolerable. Purina markets it specifically for multi-cat homes.
- 17 lb box
- 99.9% dust free
- Unscented formula
- Multi-cat clumping clay litter
Who it's for
Fits households running more than one litter box or cat, where a lighter bag matters for carrying and pouring. Also suits owners who prefer unscented litter over a heavily perfumed one.
Pros and cons
- Lighter to carry than standard clay litter
- Clumps for easy scooping
- Low dust formula for pouring
- No added fragrance
- Unscented, so no fragrance masking for odor
- Still a clay litter, not flushable or biodegradable
Performance notes
The clay clumps around waste for scooping, and Purina's lightweight processing cuts the box weight versus standard clay litter of the same volume. The 99.9 percent dust free claim addresses airborne dust during pouring and scooping. Because it carries no added scent, odor control depends on the litter itself rather than fragrance masking.
