Overview
Not a cable only office printer, this HP color laser joins WiFi or links straight to a phone with WiFi Direct. A front USB port prints Office files and PDFs without a computer.
Wireless options and walk up printing make it flexible for offices where people print from phones and flash drives. It does not scan or copy, and only HP chip cartridges work.
Who it's for
Teams sharing a color printer wirelessly. Anyone needing copy and scan should look at an all in one.
Pros and cons
- WiFi and WiFi Direct
- Front USB printing
- Optional large tray
- Blocks non HP chip cartridges
- Heavy for a desk
Performance notes
Wireless speed depends on the network, while print speed holds for plain pages. Duplex halves throughput per side. High yield cartridges cut down on supply changes.
