Overview
Shared office corners and reception desks are where this compact mono laser fits, printing fast black and white pages over the network. Automatic duplex saves paper on long reports.
Speed, duplex and a small footprint make it a workhorse for text documents. It prints only in black, has no wireless, and only HP chip cartridges work.
Who it's for
Small businesses and workgroups printing invoices and reports. Anyone needing color, scanning or wireless should look at a different model.
Pros and cons
- Fast black and white output
- Optional extra tray
- Energy saving auto on and off
- Mono only, no scan
- Blocks non HP chip cartridges
Performance notes
Fast first page and steady speed come from the laser engine; duplex slows per side output. EcoSmart toner and auto on and off reduce energy use between jobs.
